Pastoral Associates assist the clergy in bringing the pastoral ministry of the church to the parishioners.
The group regularly:
| Delivers communion to those unable to attend church, e.g., the elderly, parishioners recovering from surgery, etc. | ||
| Visits at-homers or those in nursing homes | ||
| Coordinates delivery of meals to those unable to cook because of illness, etc. | ||
| Hosts funeral receptions | ||
| Helps with transportation |
We meet twice a month for ongoing training and mutual support. If you are interested in this ministry, please talk with the Rector or one of the Pastoral Associates.
Please assist the Church by informing the office in advance, when possible, if you will be in the hospital or desire the Pastoral Ministry of the Church.
