Healing is offered at St. James' every Sunday during the 11:15 service, the second Sunday of the month during our 7:45 service, and the first and third Sundays of the month at the 9:00 service.
Teams of two-three people lay hands upon, pray for, and anoint with Holy Oil those who kneel at the healing rail (positioned in front of the first pew on the left) after receiving the Holy Eucharist.
During our Wednesday 12:00 noon service any members of the Healing Ministry may assist the Priest in the laying-on-of-hands for those who remain kneeling at the altar rail following the Holy Eucharist.
Priests and laity who feel particularly called to pray for the gift of wholeness for others are the people who make up the “healing teams” – if you would like to be part of this Ministry, please contact the Church Office for information on how to become part of a team.
